The International Center for Advanced Studies in Saratov starts its activity in January 1998.

The main goals of INCAS-S are to support the scientific potential that exists in Saratov today and to promote international collaboration of young scientists. INCAS-S organizes annual competitions of international research and educational projects in which leading foreign and Russian scientists participate and carry out joint work with local young researchers and students.
INCAS-S supports projects in the following fields of science: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics and humanities.

INCAS-S Programs

• Short-Term Research Grants Program
  The principal goal of this Program is to promote active colloboration of young Saratov reseachers with leading foreign and Russian scientists on advanced directions of investigation in the different areas of knowledge.
  The duration of the proposed project should not exceed 6 months.
  The level of funding does not exceed $5,000USD.
• Educational Grants Program
  The principal goal of this Program is to support visits of well-known Western and Russian scientists to give original lecture courses in Saratov.
• Mixed Grants Program
  The Program aims at realization of grants consisting of both research and educational parts. Foreign scientists participating in the grant are engaged not only in research part of the project but also in conducting series of lectures and seminars.
